Get those Easter baskets ready. If you’re like me, you do egg hunt practice sessions with the kiddos to prepare. Here’s a list of local Easter Egg Hunts, plus some bonus bunny-themed activities. Act fast though. Many of these opportunities have limited space. And, remember to BYOB.

Weems Creek Church Easter Egg Hunt
All are welcome at the Weems Creek Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday (3/23). The free hunt takes place from 1–3 PM on the hill behind Weems Creek Church (600 N Bestgate Rd in Annapolis). In addition to egg hunts for different age groups, they’ll have crafts, outdoor games, telling of the Easter story, and snacks.

Severna Park Breakfast with the Bunny and Egg Hunt
There’s so many egg-cellent (sorry, not sorry) hunts planned but this one might be the best. It’s a FREE breakfast with the Easter Bunny and an egg hunt on Saturday (3/23). Saints Church is partnering with the Severna Park Elk's Lodge to put on the event at 160 Truck House Road in Severna Park from 9–11 AM. Grab your free tickets.
Bonus invite: Saints Church welcomes all on Easter Sunday at 10 AM to worship and celebrate. It’s at the same address as above.
Friends of Kinder Farm Park Easter Egg Hunt
Sadly, the annual egg hunt at Kinder Farm Park on Saturday (3/23) has sold out. Here are a few details, so you can sign up next year when registration likely opens in February. The event happens rain or shine at the River Birch Pavilion. Time slots are based on two age groups: four and under and five to nine. In addition to the hunt, attendees can meet the Easter Bunny and friendly farm animals. Cost is $8 per child.
Easter Egg Scramble
On Tuesday (3/26), get in on an Easter Egg Scramble on the green at the Annapolis Town Center. The schedule is as follows:
11 AM: Ages 0–3 (max 6 eggs per child)
12:15 PM: Ages 4–6 (max 12 eggs per child)
1:30 PM: Ages 7–11 (max 12 eggs per child)
The cost is $5 and includes a picture with the Easter Bunny. All proceeds benefit Gigi’s Playhouse Annapolis, a nonprofit with programming and support for individuals with Down syndrome. Get tickets.
Hammond-Harwood House Museum Easter Egg Hunt
On Saturday, March 30 from 10 AM–11:30 AM, join story time at the historic Hammond-Harwood House Museum and get a bonus egg hunt in the garden. Children ages five and up can paint the wooden eggs they find. The location is 19 Maryland Ave in Annapolis. Price: $15 per child, members are $10 per child. Accompanying adult is free. Egg-stravaganza 2024
Annapolis Friends Meeting is hosting Egg-stravaganza 2024 on Saturday (3/30) starting at 10 AM. They’re having multiple egg hunts by age group, crafts, giveaways, games, food, and music at 351 Dubois Road in Annapolis. If you’re new to this religious society, they welcome all people from all personal, spiritual, and social backgrounds. Proceeds will benefit the Center for Child and Infant Loss. So, hop to it and buy your tickets for this egg-citing event. Tickets cost $10.
Heritage Easter Egg Hunt
Heritage Baptist Church is hosting an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday (3/30) at 1740 Forest Dr. in Annapolis. The best part? Free admission! All are welcome. Here’s the schedule:
10 AM: Games, crafts, cotton candy, and meet the Easter Bunny
11 AM: Egg hunt for ages under 4
11:30 AM: Egg hunt for ages 4 and up
Annapolis Recreation and Parks Department Easter Egg Hunt
Annapolis Recreation and Parks Department is hosting a free egg hunt on Saturday (3/30) too. Theirs is taking place at the Pip Moyer Rec Center at Truxtun Park (273 Hilltop Lane in Annapolis). Beginning at 10 AM enjoy music, popcorn, cotton candy, and face painting. All participants must register from 10 AM–10:25 AM. The egg hunting schedule:
10:30–10:45 AM: Ages 4 and under
11:00–11:15 AM: Ages 5–7
11:30–11:45 AM: Ages 8–12 years old
12–12:30 PM: All ages with special needs on the basketball court

Lastly, many communities throw egg hunts too. So ask your community association, pools, churches, and so on if any are planned. No egg hunts near you? Throw an impromptu one with friends and/or family.
PSA: There is such a thing as too many jelly beans. Keep an eye on your kid’s sugar intake. Consider yourself warned!
