Parents are digging out the baskets. The kids (at least mine) are training. It’s Easter Egg Hunt season! Below, you’ll find the best local hunts in chronological order. 🐣
Annapolis’ BEST Easter Egg Hunt: A bold title, but the Saturday, April 12 event at Quiet Waters Park’s White Oak Pavilion promises to back it up. Check-in begins at 9:30 AM. Then, hunts are divided by age groups to ensure kids’ safety:
Tips: Arrive early to ensure maximum eggs. BYO basket and camera (or phone) for a candid moment with the Easter Bunny. Register for the free event!
Friends of Kinder Farm Park Easter Egg Hunt: Rain or shine, head to Kinder Farm Park’s River Birch Pavilion on April 12 for the annual Easter Egg Hunt. Kids ages 8 and under join in age-based groups during the following start times: 1:00 PM, 1:30 PM, 2:00 PM, and 2:30 PM. After gathering a basket of sweet goodies, meet the Easter Bunny and visit the Farm animals. 📍1001 Kinder Farm Park Rd, Millersville, MD 21108
Hurry — this one sold out last year. Costs $8 per child. Get tickets now.
PAINT Nail Bar Easter Egg Hunt: Why should kids have all the fun? If you ask me — PAINT nailed their egg hunt plans. On April 12, grab (maybe with a newly manicured hand?) one of two chances to search their salon for eggs filled with prizes and treats. The first quest begins at noon, followed by the second at 1 PM. Tickets are $20 each. Kids (1-10 years old) are free, but you still need to register them.
Hang out after for refreshments, photo ops, and springtime fun. Learn more about their services and book your next mani/pedi at 2077 Somerville Rd Ste. 156, Annapolis, MD 21401.
Bunny in the Barnyard: There’s a hop-load of fun planned on Sunday, April 13 at Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds (1450 Generals Highway Crownsville, MD 21032). Besides an egg hunt, enjoy hayrides, crafts, face painting, pony rides, and vendors! Oh, and don’t forget about the obligatory Easter Bunny visit. Tickets are $10.95 per child. Adults are free. Register for ages 1-4 or 5 and up.
Play Street Museum Easter Egg Hunt & Easter Bunny Visit: Thursday, April 17 from 6:30 PM to 8 PM, kids not only get to play, but also participate in an egg hunt, meet the Easter Bunny, and enjoy other Easter-themed activities. The bunny will hop through between 7 and 7 PM. Costs $20 per child. Register today!
📍560 Ritchie Highway Suite F, Severna Park, MD 21146
Annapolis Maritime Museum’s Easter Egg Hunt: We love when nautical and holiday themes collide. On April 18, search all nooks and crannies of the exhibit at 723 Second St for multicolored eggs filled with candy. If you look closely, you may find one of the “big prizes” — a silver egg with tickets for free museum admission, or a golden egg with certificates for a free cruise on the historic skipjack Wilma Lee! Runs 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Costs $5.
Rec & Parks Easter Egg Hunt: Mark your calendars on Saturday, April 19 for one EXTRA egg hunt. Discover 10,000 eggs at “Pip” Moyer Recreation Center in Annapolis. The free event also includes face painting, cotton candy, popcorn, and live music.
Registration runs 10–10:25 AM. Hunt times are:
Egg Hunt Eggstravaganza at My Gym Annapolis: I can’t believe I made it this far before saying “eggstravaganza” but here we are. Besides an Easter Egg Hunt for children ages 4 months to 10, families can enjoy games, songs, and of course, a meet and greet with the Easter Bunny! Goes 3 to 5 PM on April 19. Book now.
📍302 Harry S Truman Pkwy, Unit G, Annapolis, MD 21401
🥚EGG-STRA CREDIT: Hopping for another egg-venture? Ask your church or community associations if they’re hosting an egg hunt (most do). When in doubt, have your own at home. Cheap tip: Dollar Tree offers 30 plastic eggs for $1.25 and bags of candy for the same price.
