Who’s ready to don some denim and bling? For the record, jeggings count. Confused? Don’t be. After a six-year hiatus, Denim & Diamonds is back on April 26, 2025.
This is Luminis Health Anne Arundel Medical Center’s largest fundraiser (and one of the biggest in Anne Arundel County). The *sparkly* event at AAMC’s South Campus (1997 Annapolis Exchange Parkway in Annapolis) seeks to increase mental health services with a specific focus on urgent pediatric mental health needs this year.
Back to the event attire — well, it’s up to you. Throw on your favorite denim or best cocktail dress. “Everything is in at Denim & Diamonds.” Enjoy a fun-filled cocktail buffet party with gourmet food trucks and delicious catering options. Spin a prize wheel and check out the many raffle opportunities and unique auction items. Last but not least, bust a move thanks to tunes from the Bachelor Boys Band.
Our sources tell us tickets go on sale in early March. While we wait, some fast facts (just call me Jenna Fischer) on why this “party with a purpose” deserves a spot on your calendar.
Let’s face it. We live in a world where physical and mental health aren’t treated equally . . . As parents and caregivers, we know what to do if our child breaks their leg or has a fever. Sadly, watching a child endure a different kind of pain, stress, or fear can leave us feeling helpless.
Mental health remains a difficult topic for many, especially when it pertains to children and adolescents. It’s time to reshape holistic healthcare for the beloved children in our lives. This is where you come in.
“The success of the Bash is dependent on strong community and corporate support,” explained Denim & Diamonds Founding Chair Claudia Boldyga. “Contributions, no matter the size, will make a real difference in the lives of those who need it most.”
Want to help beyond grabbing tickets next month? Become a sponsor or make a donation. You’ll make a big difference in a young person’s struggle. Visit www.aamcdenimanddiamonds.org for more information.
